Scott Taylor has honed his multimedia skills by working in just about every aspect of video, print, and broadcast media.
Scott was one of the first people to be working in online video back in the late 90’s, when he took the role as video producer, editor, and online manager for Primedia's nine different magazine titles. Luckily those titles included Surfer, Powder, Snowboarder, and Skateboarder magazine among others. It was Scott's job to bring these nine magazine titles into the new millennium by creating online players and incorporating lots of video, photos, and regular updates to the dedicated web sites that served the magazines. Not long after this, Scott was recruited to teach summer courses in Video, Photography, and Graphic Design at Stanford, UCSD, and UC Irvine. From that time on, Scott has split his time between media production and education. He still produces for clients like Samsung, Cox, DC Shoes, Tony Hawk, and UCSD. Plus, he has a growing photography business while teaching courses in video production, post production VFX, and Photoshop at MiraCosta.
When Scott's not teaching or producing media, he can be found playing music at local venues, skating, shooting photos, or traveling with his family.
