Gregory Kelley is a graphic designer, web developer, and educator who received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in art history from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where his specialty was medieval manuscript illumination. As an experienced communication designer, Gregory’s projects have included packaging, apparel graphics, brand identity, and interactive publishing.

As an educator, Gregory’s goal is to give students a foundation in design principles, as well as creative thinking and conceptual problem solving techniques so that they may generate ideas for communication programs. In Gregory’s classes, students will learn to create intelligent and thought provoking designs in order to communicate complex ideas in a simple and effective manner. It is Gregory’s hope that with these skills, students will contribute to the cultural force of visual communication through their singular vision of design.

In his free time, Gregory enjoys opera, foreign film, and riding his bicycle along the beach.
