Judith Bofia is a Brand Strategist and Creative Director with 18 years of experience shaping brands through thoughtful design and strategic marketing. Her career spans startups, agencies, software, and healthcare, where she has led brand development, creative operations, integrated marketing initiatives, and digital campaigns.

Judith began her career building a strong foundation in branding, visual design, and marketing before advancing into leadership roles. She has led creative teams, developed marketing strategies that drive business growth, directed communications for software product launches, and partnered with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive brand experiences. Most recently, at a healthcare staffing organization, she led marketing initiatives that supported nationwide recruitment efforts and strengthened employer branding. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with executives, entrepreneurs, and multidisciplinary teams to build brands that resonate with audiences and deliver measurable results.

As the founder and Creative Director of Bofia Design Lab, a Latina-owned branding and marketing studio, Judith partners with organizations of all sizes to create authentic brand identities, compelling visual communications, and strategic marketing solutions that foster engagement and long-term growth. Her expertise includes brand strategy, brand identity development, creative direction, graphic design, digital marketing, and integrated marketing communications across print and digital platforms.

In addition to leading Bofia Design Lab, Judith serves as Associate Faculty at MiraCosta College, where she teaches MAT 110: Digital Imaging 1: Photoshop and prepares the next generation of designers with practical, industry-relevant skills. She is passionate about mentoring emerging creatives and helping students see design as a powerful tool for communication, storytelling, and problem-solving.

Originally from the San Fernando Valley, Judith earned her bachelor's degree from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). As a first-generation Mexican-American professional, she is committed to empowering others through mentorship, education, and community engagement. She previously served on the board of AIGA San Diego, where she advocated for more inclusive pathways into the creative industry.

Judith lives in Carlsbad, California, with her husband and two sons. Outside of work, she enjoys playing flag football, traveling throughout Mexico, and discovering new books.
