MAT 270, otherwise known as studio|270 is a working design studio where advanced students gain firsthand experience in the function of a professional studio environment creating real-world projects for real-world clients. You will learn how to deal with client relations, project development and management, problem solving, team interaction and management, asset management, and final project delivery.
Projects are accepted and completed based on your skills and those of your team members. These projects can take any form, from videos, web sites, brochures, posters, and other traditional communication formats, to experimental and non-traditional formats involving hybrid media, interactive instructional environments, and other challenging parameters. Many projects completed in the studio have won awards at the local, state, and national levels.
