Who I Am
My name is Valentine Malicsi, but call me Teena. I am a retired U.S. Army, and I served for 20 years in the service. I was raised in Rancho Penasquitos; that is why I moved back here in California right after my military retirement.
After many years of procrastination, in 2015, I finally went back to college at National University and graduated with Bachelor's Degree in Homeland Security and a minor in Criminal Justice. After college, I worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs at Sorrento Valley for a couple of years. I chose to work for the VA because I am passionate about helping my fellow veterans. I enjoyed working for the VA, but my injuries while serving the military forced me to retire early.
My favorite inspiration quote: Our attitude during times of testing can determine the outcome of our trials. A bad attitude is often a manifestation of unbelief and lack of gratitude - Unknown.
