Descriptions of TV Shows

The Office (US)
Inspired by Ricky Gervais' UK television series of the same name, the US version of The Office is a "mockumentary" style comedy that chronicles the ordinary lives of the employees working at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company's Scranton, PA branch.
The Mandalorian
Set in the Star Wars universe, this "space western" takes place shortly after the events of Return of the Jedi. The Mandalorian tells the story of bounty hunter Din Djarin (aka "Mando" or "The Mandalorian") and his adventures.
Schitt's Creek
Schitt's Creek tells the story of the Roses, a wealthy family that finds themselves penniless after their financial advisor defrauds them of nearly all of their assets. The family's one remaining and long forgotten asset, is a small town called "Schitt's Creek", which was purchased many years prior by Johnny Rose as a joke for his son David on his birthday. This town becomes the Rose's new home, where they struggle to adjust to their new way of living.
WandaVision
Equal parts science fiction, drama, comedy, and romance, WandaVision takes place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) following the events of Avengers: Endgame. The story centers around Wanda Maximoff and Vision, two heroes with extraordinary superhuman powers, living an ideal life akin to classic American sitcoms of the 1950's and beyond. Certain small events take place that cause the couple to question their surroundings (and in Vision's case, his own existence), and they begin to realize that things are not as they seem.
Kim's Convenience
Kim's Convenience is a sitcom that follows the day-to-day events and lives of the Kim family, consisting of Korean immigrant parents Sang-il ("Appa"/Dad), Yong-mi ("Umma"/Mom), and their two Canadian-born kids: an astranged son named Jung, and a daughter named Janet, a college student who regularly helps her parents run their small Toronto-based convenience store.
