Ginger Takes a Trip to Borrego Springs

#Tinydog's Road Trip

Hi there, my name is Ginger and I'm an adored, adopted doggo who loves to travel. I live in Carlsbad, California, where I spend my time chasing lizards, barking at delivery people and making my mom and dad smile.

My life didn't start out so well. I was pulled from an animal shelter in El Centro by an independent rescue group and taken to Helen Woodward Animal Center where I was placed with a foster family and gave birth to two white and black-spotted puppies named Sassafrass and Saffron. My own name comes from my red fur; since I am a redhead, they call me "Ginger." Get it?

I Love My Family!

Three dogs on the road

My mom worked at the Center and one day she came across me and thought I was the cutest dog she had ever seen! So, I was adopted and have lived with my family ever since.

I'm a little bit of a nervous doggy, but as long as I'm with my family, or my canine besties, Dakota and Sedona, I'm a-ok. Aren't they the best?

I'm going on a trip to the family home in Borrego Springs today! Won't you come along?
