Associate Faculty : Kevin O’Hara
Two-time Emmy award-winner Kevin O’Hara brings more than 24 years of experience in video production to the classroom. Known for his attention to detail, he artfully orchestrates multi-camera live events, compelling corporate videos, news footage, and documentaries while maintaining laser focus on his client's goals and budget. His corporate portfolio includes General Electric, Carl Zeiss, Callaway Golf, Johnson & Johnson, Qualcomm and National Geographic, to name just a few. Broadcast credits include ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, Fox, Disney Channel and ESPN.
In addition to his two Emmy awards, Kevin has been recognized with numerous other accolades, including several Telly awards for producing outstanding local, regional and cable TV programming and an Axiem Award for excellence in electronic media. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual and Performing Arts with an Emphasis in Arts & Technology from California State University San Marcos and an Associate of Arts degree and Certificate of Achievement in Radio and Television from Palomar College. Kevin prides himself on staying current with new equipment, technologies and best practices.
