Associate Faculty : Jason Katsoff
Jason Katsoff possesses an eclectic mix of work experience and a true love for media arts. His twenty years of industry experience spans broadcast design, game development and advertising. His national clients include Disney, Microsoft, Toyota, Capcom, ABC, NBC, Fox, UPN, and Direct Ticket. He also has worked with many local clients on a freelance basis including Qualcomm, Leap Wireless, and Genoptix.
Of all his past work he has two favorite projects. He worked on a motion base ride on behalf of the Disney Imagineers. The ride is installed at the Disney Quest theme park in Orlando, Florida. His other favorite project was creating 3D animations for local clients Leap Wireless and Genoptix. Both companies showed their work on the 6-story LCD screen on the Nasdaq building in Times Square, New York City (shown above) .
Jason has grown and learned along with the tools and technology of 3D content creation. He has production experience with nearly every piece of software used to create 3D images. He really thrills with the advances in the industry. He brings that same enthusiasm as an instructor. His work ethic and commitment to the students mirror his commitment to the visual entertainment industry.
